Post-Quantum Resistance with Multi-dimensional Result Factoring

The weaknesses of legacy data protections, including data encryption, have been a factor since these methodologies were invented. Everything else in our data-driven world has changed but not the basic methodologies of protection.

Multi-dimensional Result Factoring addresses the weaknesses of data encryption from the exposure of the decryption key to informing an attacker when the key they used is wrong.

Post Quantum Resistance with Multi-dimensional Result Factoring

The history of data protection has always utilized Single-dimensional Result Factoring (SRF). The results of an attempt to breach SRF protected data is always binary. The attack works or it does not. This binary result is a weakness which immediately informs the attacker when they fail and therefore should try again. In contrast, Multi-dimensional Result Factoring (MRF) provides no such indication to an attacker. With MRF-protected data, any attempt to 'decrypt' the data will provide a seemingly valid result. The difference is that only the correct keys, etc. will provide the correct results. MRF removes a key indicator which attackers use. MRF will never tell them that their attack failed, thereby increasing the difficulty of breaking security exponentially.

How to Reduce Risks and Costs Associated with Handling PII Data

Data scientists need access to the richest data possible in order to achieve the most robust analytical outcomes but increasing regulations and rising risks are a liability.

In this paper, you’ll learn about:

  • A simple and cost-effective way to circumvent risk while allowing access to rich datasets
